Angela & Bryan

If Bryan is the rhythm, then Angela is the melody. On August 3rd, they intertwinedtheir song and married at First Baptist Church in Raleigh. This sweet couple met through their passion for music and they incorporated their story in the details of their wedding.

Following their heartfelt ceremony, guests were invited to The Cookery in Durham, NC. Guests were invited to enjoy cool drinks at the hand-crafted bar and served delightful bites provided by Durham Catering Co. Following cocktail hour, everyone found their assigned tables that were named after favorite composers & songwriters. We must admit, we learned a little something about music that day!

A few of the highlights of the wedding:

• Angela asked each of her bridesmaids about their favorite flower. With the help of Tre Bella, each girl carried a white bouquet filled with their floral choice. How sweet! It was perfectly monochromatic, but unique for each maid.

• The couple asked all their guests to bring personal wedding photos to hang on The Cookery’s over-sized chalkboard. It created a handcrafted collage of celebration.

• Bryan and Angela thanked each and every guest for attending. They were especially honored to have Bryan’s grandparents celebrating over 65 years of marriage. Angela presented Bryan’s grandmother with a bouquet while Bryan embraced his grandpa.

• A first dance with Angela and her three new brother-in laws. All four of them rocked out the Night at The Roxbury theme song “What is Love." Amazingly fun and they had MOVES for days.

Here are a few images to perfect the vision:

Cutting the cake with a sword! This sword was given to Bryan's father when he was commissioned into the US Navy - Bryan's mother & father used it to cut the cake at their wedding, and then Bryan's brother and his wife used it to cut the cake at THEIR wedding! The tradition continued!
