Giving Thanks

Here I sit, stuffed with cajun roast turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, generally an embarrasingly long list of food delicious food. I am beyond thankful for just that...a place to sit, a meal to eat, family and friends to spend Thanksgiving with. This year has been packed full of wonderful things, blessings beyond what I deserve. I am grateful for:

Amazing clients who trust me with the biggest day of their lives. It means so much to me to be a part of your wedding day. All the delight in the world fills my heart when you say, "our wedding was wonderful," "we are so happy," "thank you for everything," "we couldn't have done it without you." It's such a pleasure to have you in my life!

A wonderful husband who challenges me every day. Even during times where all I want him to do is agree with me and move on, he speaks his mind. He forces me to look at things from a different point of view. He makes me a better person. I love you, Justin!

Family and friends who have supported me in the past, present and future. My family is quirky, funny, fantastic, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. My friends are unbelievably supportive and have had nothing but confidence in me when it comes to building my business. Thank you for your kindness and love!

Other wedding professionals who are committed to excellence. What a great feeling it is to know we are here to support each other and to help create beautiful memories for our clients. Thank you local friends who have embraced Gather Together over the past year and a half.

God's perfect timing. I saw a quote on Pinterest recently that said: "God's answer to your prayers is always one of three things: 1) yes, 2) not yet, or 3) I have something better in mind." When I let go and let His plans for my life happen, wonderful things happen to me. This goes for my business, my family, my friends, and more; it must be a daily reminder in the year to come.

Wishing you and those you love a very happy Thanksgiving!
