Bouquet Alternatives

We adore flowers at Gather Together! From grandiose arrangements to one single bud perfectly placed, flowers fill us with delight. But, it is always important to recognize options for your wedding. Our team aims to introduce, provoke and brainstorm all wedding options from classic and traditional to edgy and fashionable.

Brides are constantly looking for ways to have unique or personal spins on their wedding day. While floral bouquets are absolutely stunning, we have seen many alternatives and want to share some of these ideas with you! Finding a different option for a bouquet may not only be a unique touch, but also a cost savings (locally, bridesmaid bouquets range from about $70-$120, and the bride's bouquet can be upwards of $200 depending on flower choices).

Seasonal alternatives can be lovely. During a winter affair, wreaths or candles could be carried down the aisle. For a Valentine's Day celebration, a bouquet of heart-shaped arrows would be adorable! For a Fourth of July wedding, why not reverse the sparkler exit to a sparkling entrance (outdoors, of course)? Here are some more fun ideas we found...

Candles could be beautiful for a holiday wedding, but we love these lanterns that give a Moroccan feel |

Create a more whimsical feel with balloons as bouquets; just make sure they are securely fastened to your maids! |

For a fall theme, you could incorporate a dried rye bouquet with colorful ribbon |

A parasol will shield your maids on a sunny day and add some color to the ceremony |

Some brides may be married to having a bouquet, especially if the toss is a must for their reception, but maybe having something a bit different for the bridesmaids, flower girls, or even boutonnieres could be an option for you. Whether traditional or trendy, flowers or no flowers, we will make sure you end up with a beautiful, timeless look.
